Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman was an American female gymnast who was captain of her team in the US women's Olympic gymnastics Team 2012 Fierce Five and in 2016. the Final Five. Aly Raisman was an American gymnast USA who took gold in the 2012 Olympics. She became one of the few American to win the most medals at an Olympics. Her gold medal at the Olympics in 2016 marked the second consecutive gold for the American team. This made her, and teammate Gabby - the first Americans to be able to complete this achievement. In addition, she was awarded silver medals in the all-around individual event and in the floor workout. In between the two Olympics she had taken an absence from gymnastics competition for three years. Additionally, she was part of the gold medal winning American team at 2 World Championships. Gymnastics was her first sport of choice at the age of two and her favourite event is floor exercise. Aly is a supporter for the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organisation in memory her grandmother, who died from cancer. In the future, she hopes to build a career from fashion. Aly would like to increase the length of her leotards and her socks. Fierce is a novel she's writing, will be coming out in the year ahead.
